President Bills called the Regular Board Meeting of the Woodrow-Osceola Water Supply Corporation to order at 6:30 p.m., November 11, 2014. All Directors were present with the exception of Linda Hasselstrom, Sandra Chilcutt and Charles Jones. Also, Manager Malcolm Tucker was present. President Bills said, we should pause and remember the veterans for their sacrifice to keep our nation free.

 

Item 5: Evelyn Pareya Audit

Ms. Pareya was moved next on the agenda. She presented the financial statement for years ended August 31, 2014 and 2013, stating the Corporation finished with a strong financial status and positive operation results. President Bills thanked Ms. Pareya for her readers digest condensed version of the audit and John Milburn made a motion to accept the audit as presented. Jane Morgan seconded. Vote was unanimous.

 

Item 2: Approve Minutes

Johnnie Bankston read the minutes from the October 14, 2014 Regular Board Meeting. John Milburn made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Ray Mershawn seconded. Vote was unanimous.

 

Item 3: Directors Source and Application of Funds

Malcolm Tucker presented the Source and Application of Funds. John Milburn made a motion to accept the Source and Application of Funds as presented. Tim Rochelle seconded. Vote was unanimous.

 

Item 4: Membership Changes

Tim Rochelle made a motion to accept 1-New Membership, 3-Transfers, No Sellbacks and 1-Revoke-Lacy Roberts #1057. Jane Morgan seconded. Vote was unanimous.

 

Item 6: Osceola

Malcolm stated, the Osceola Well was up and running. He also said, he has heard nothing from Texas-New Mexico and all the info on the accident has been sent to AIA. We are just waiting to hear, if the insurance will pay the claim.

Item 8: Directors and Manager Comments

Malcolm said, the water loss is coming down and should be lower by next month. Payton Wallace is still working on the cameras trying to use our software and the Jawbone Well should be the first to be set-up. Johnnie Bankston asked Malcolm, if he read the article in the TRWA magazine about contract labor. He said, he had not and Johnnie stated, it was about the liability the Corporation could face and said he should read the article. Tom Bills asked, what kind of shape the Corporation would face if something happened to Malcolm. Malcolm said, we could do okay with a few hiccups.

Item 10: Adjourn

Jane Morgan made a motion to adjourn at 7:55 p.m. John Milburn seconded. Vote was unanimous.
