President Richard Greenhill called the Regular Board Meeting of the Woodrow-Osceola Water Supply Corporation to order at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2007. All Directors were present, with the exception of Bill Coleman, Linda Hasselstrom and Jane Morgan. Employee Malcolm Tucker and 2 members were also present.

 

Item 2: Approve Minutes

Johnnie Bankston read the minutes from the April 10, 2007 Regular Board Meeting. Tim Rochelle made a motion to accept with a correction to Item 7 – Chilcott to Chilcutt. Darline Jean seconded. Vote was unanimous. The minutes from the Special Board Meeting, Tuesday, April 16, 2007 were read by Johnnie Bankston. Tim Rochelle made a motion to accept as read. Sandra Chilcutt seconded. Vote was unanimous.

 

Item 3: Directors Source and Application of Funds

Malcolm Tucker presented the Source. Tim Rochelle made a motion to accept as presented. Sandra Chilcutt seconded. Vote was unanimous.

 

Item 4: Well Upgrades for Wells #2, #3, #4 & #5

Malcolm Tucker gave a presentation to the Board to upgrade pumps to increase output approximately 162 gpm, adding above ground storage and installing SCADA monitoring system. The Board asked Malcolm to get two more bids on the upgrade for the well pumps and they would review the information presented. The Item will be place on the June agenda.

 

Item 5: Resolution to be Adopted for USDA Loan

Tim Rochelle made a motion to accept Loan Resolutions per attached Item 5 Resolution page. Sandra Chilcutt seconded. Vote was unanimous.

Item 7: Directors and Manager Comments

Tim Rochelle asked about the progress of the generator. Malcolm Tucker said Cummins South Plains in Arlington was waiting on parts. Tim Rochelle also said Malcolm Tucker was doing a very good job and we no longer needed employee time sheets to be mailed out to Directors. The Board said one master copy was all that would be needed the night of the meeting. Sandra Chilcutt told Malcolm Tucker the information on upgrading the system is what she had asked for several times and she was very pleased with Malcolm Tucker. Darline Jean stated everything was going great.

 

Item 8: Membership Changes

Tim Rochelle made a motion to accept No New Memberships, 4 Transfers, No Sellbacks and No Revokes. Darline Jean seconded. Vote was unanimous.

None

 

Item 10: Adjourn

Tim Rochelle made a motion to adjourn at 8:00 p.m. Sandra Chilcutt seconded. Vote was unanimous.
