President Bills called the Regular Board Meeting of the Woodrow-Osceola Water Supply Corporation to order at 6:30 p.m., June 09, 2015. All Directors were present with the exception of Linda Hasselstrom. Also, Manager Malcolm Tucker was present.
Item 5: Gerald Rabroker with HD Supply to Discuss Meter Reading Machine
Mr. Rabroker discussed the functions of the Neptune MRX920 such as, the speed in which the device could read the meters, detecting water leaks, reverse back flow and higher water usage. The device will cost $6500.00, but can be upgraded with GPS Mapping for $2500.00. The Corporation will have to supply their own Lap Top computer. After the Board discussed the MRX920, Charles Jones made a motion to purchase the machine with the GPS Mapping at a cost of $9,000.00. John Milburn seconded. Vote was unanimous.
Item 2: Approve Minutes
Johnnie Bankston read the minutes from the April 14, 2015 Regular Board Meeting and for reference the May meeting was cancelled, due to the inclement weather. Jane Morgan made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Ray Mershawn seconded. Vote was unanimous.
Item 3: Directors Source and Application of Funds
Malcolm Tucker presented the Source and Application of Funds. Tim Rochelle made a motion to accept the Source and Application of Funds as presented. John Milburn seconded. Vote was unanimous.
Item 4: Membership Changes
Sandra Chilcutt made a motion to accept New Membership-1, Transfers-2, Sellbacks-None and Revokes-None. Charles Jones seconded. Vote was unanimous.
Item 6: Approve Estimate for Gonzales Cleaning Services
Gonzales Cleaning Service was hired to strip and wax office floors for $1400.00. Mr. Gonzales was asked to give a quote for monthly office cleaning. He presented a quote of $400.00 a month. Ray Mershawn made a motion not to accept the $400.00 a month quote. Charles Jones seconded. Vote was unanimous.

President Bills stated he would like to see the Corporation show recognition for ten years of service. After discussion, Ray Mershawn made a motion on the tenth year of service only, an extra weeks’ vacation will be given, as well as a beautiful plaque. Charles Jones seconded. Vote was unanimous.

Item 10: Directors and Manager Comments
John Milburn asked, if we could place a meter in a spot where there could be a possible leak? Malcolm said, yes it is possible. Tom Bills said, he wondered if online billing was possible. Several board members stated, they thought it was not a good idea, because it would be a challenge. Malcolm stated, it had been mentioned about naming Well 6 the Greenhill well. The well name will be placed on the July agenda.
