Malcolm stated, Well #7 was doing great, with all the water samples coming back good and the water taste is good. Also, Freeman Well had a camera sent down into the casing and the water was 177 ft. above the pump, which is good, but a lot of the casing needed replacing. The pump was replaced and is pumping at about 250 gallons and the VFD should be installed this week.

Item 7: Directors and Manager Comments

Ray Mershawn asked if we would have mileage logs on the new vehicles. Malcolm said, we keep a log on all Corporation vehicles showing miles, fuel, and the employee fueling the vehicle. Also, he asked, if there was a discussion with employees not to “talk or text on their phones”. Malcolm said, the discussion did take place and they understood the Corporation rule. Jane Morgan said, her thunder was stolen commenting about the 4.27% water loss, but keep up the good work. Johnnie Bankston asked why the employees were not wearing their safety vests. Malcolm said, it was really his fault and he would take care of the problem. Tom Bills asked, Malcolm, if he found out about safety strip lighting to go on the cabs of the Corporation vehicles. Malcolm said, the 1T must be equipped with safety lighting and he has ordered the strip lighting for all the vehicles. Also, Malcolm stated, we had a bad water sample, due to employee error. TCEQ was sent a disregard notice stating, it was due to employee error and that should take care of the issue.
