President Richard Greenhill called the Regular Board Meeting of the Woodrow-Osceola Water Supply Corporation to order at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2010. All Directors were present with the exception of James Flanery and Tim Rochelle. Also, manager Malcolm Tucker was present.

 

Item 2: Approve Minutes

Johnnie Bankston read the minutes from the June 8, 2010 Regular Board Meeting. Thomas Bills made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Linda Hasselstrom seconded. Vote was unanimous.

 

Item 3: Directors Source and Application of Funds

Malcolm Tucker presented the Source and Application of Funds. Thomas Bills made a motion to accept the report as presented. Linda Hasselstrom seconded. Vote was unanimous.

 

Item 4: Woodrow Well 3-A

Malcolm told the Board Mr. Rogers decided he was not interested in selling one acre of land for Woodrow Well 3-A. Mr. Rainville is very interested in selling one acre to the Corporation for Well 3-A for $14,500.00. The property has a lien for the specified amount of money and Martha Mcgregor stated their would be no problem in purchasing the property and getting a clear title. Linda Hasselstrom made a motion to investigate the purchase of the property from Mr. Rainville. Thomas Bills seconded. Vote was unanimous.

 

Item 5: Well #6

USDA stated things were still going thru the process and going, going and going!!!

Item 7: Membership Changes

Sandra Chilcutt made a motion to accept – No New Memberships, 4 Transfers, No Sellbacks and No Revokes. Linda Hasselstrom seconded. Vote was unanimous.

 

Item 8: Directors and Manager Comments

Thomas Bills asked if we had heard anything from Mr. Wallace on his double hook-up. Malcolm said he had been sent another letter giving him 30 days to solve the problem or his meter will be locked. Jane Morgan asked if the project on FM 2719 had been completed. Malcolm stated no, the FM 1367 was underway. She also stated the field crew was still not wearing safety gear. Johnnie Bankston stated she had repeatedly discussed the safety gear problem with Malcolm and said the employees should be required to put their vest on first thing and removed at the end of the day. The Employees are not doing what is required for the safety rules and the problem could easily be taken care of by simply enforcing the rule. Richard Greenhill stated he had a call from a member saying he had paid $0.25 for a fax and did not get a receipt for his taxes. Malcolm stated it would be no problem to give a receipt.

 

Item 9: Executive Session

None Chilcutt made a motion to accept 9 New Membership, 6 Transfers, No sellbacks and No Revokes. Thomas Bills seconded. Vote was unanimous.

 

Item 10: Adjourn

Jane Morgan made a motion to adjourn at 7:40 p.m. Thomas Bills seconded. Vote was unanimous.
