REGULAR BOARD MEETING
JULY 11, 2017

Item 1: Call Meeting To Order
President Bills called the Regular Board Meeting to order at 6:30 P.M., July 11, 2017. All Directors were present, with the exception of Nelda Burt and John Milburn. Also, Manager Malcolm Tucker, Teena Worbington and 2 members were present.

Item 3: Lupe Mancha-#463 Leak
Mr. Mancha was moved next on the agenda and spoke to the Board about his leak resulting in $821.41. Lupe told the Board, he does not live on the property and someone had broken the faucet on the customer side, resulting in a leak costing $821.41. He was told he could setup a payout plan because the rules are, if the water runs thru the meter they must pay. Mr. Mancha was told, to be on the safe side, lock his meter when he is not on the property. Johnnie Bankston made a motion to offer a payout for the $821.41 bill in a 12 month period, plus monthly bill. Linda Hasselstrom seconded. Vote was unanimous.

Item 2: Approve Minutes
Johnnie Bankston read the minutes from the June13, 2017 Regular Board Meeting. Linda Hasselstrom made a motion to accept the minutes, with one correction. Garry Reynolds seconded. Vote was unanimous.

Item 4: Directors Source and Application of Funds
Teena Worbington presented the Source and Application of Funds. After discussion, Linda Hasselstrom made a motion to accept the Source and Application of Funds as presented. Charles Jones seconded. Vote was unanimous.

Item 5: Membership Changes
Sandra Chilcutt made a motion to accept New Membership-2, Transfers-6, Sellbacks-None and Revokes-James G. Elder #1210. Linda Hasselstrom seconded. Vote was unanimous.

Item 6: Pricing of 4” and 6” Meters
Malcolm Tucker explained to the Board, he used AWWA Ratio to determine the cost for a 6” meter to be $945.00 a month plus water usage. Linda Hasselstrom made a motion to accept the AWWA Ratio to determine the cost of $945.00 for a 6” meter a month plus water usage. Sandra Chilcutt seconded. Vote was unanimous. Malcolm stated, he would in the future calculate the AWWA Ratio to the remaining size meters.

Item 7: Bank Interest Rate
Tabled. Johnnie Bankston, Tom Bills and Ray Mershawn will be visiting the Bank for specifics on the increase fees on the Corporation accounts.

Item 8: Public Comment
None

Item 9: Directors and Manager Comments
Ray Mershawn asked the Board to look at the graph passed out to them and the savings in utilities for each well, due to measures taken to reduce the cost per gallon of water pumped. Johnnie Bankston asked Malcolm, if he had any information on the motor from Well #6? He replied, no. She asked, if the copper from the well had been taken to the scrape metal yard? He replied, no. Johnnie said, it needed to be done before someone breaks in the yard and steals the copper. Malcolm stated, Gary Brown quit and we were down 2 people in the field. The Corporation has an ad in the papers resulting in several applicants.

Item 11: Adjourn
Charles Jones made a motion to adjourn at 8:00 P.M. Sandra Chilcutt seconded. Vote was unanimous.
