The Credentials Committee met at the home of chairperson, Johnnie Bankston, on January 9, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. Committee members present were Johnnie Bankston and Richard Greenhill. Due to illness, Darline Jean was contacted by phone and she stated, whatever the other two committee members voted on she was in favor.
- Candidates nominated by the Nomination Committee – Richard Greenhill, Linda Hasselstrom and Darline Jean were discussed.
- The proxy – ballot card was reviewed and committee voted to accept as is.
- The time and place to hold Annual Meeting discussed and by unanimous vote, the Woodbury Community Center was selected and the time would be 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2007.
- A covered dish, pot luck dinner, along with same door prizes in past years, was a unanimous vote.
- The committee voted to notify membership, by annual letter mailed no later than 15 days prior to April 7, 2007. The proxy-ballot form, along with a postage pre-paid envelope marked “Ballot” will be enclosed.
- Procedure for verifying proxy-ballots and registering voter was discussed. The proxy-ballots will be picked up and opened by the Chairperson and an appropriate list for counting and recording will be kept and the deadline for proxy-ballots is April 6, 2007, 12:00 noon at the Service Center.
- Malcolm Tucker will compose a list for Credential Committee to verify proxy-ballots by Saturday, April 7, 2007.
- Meeting Adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
