April 2, 2011

The Annual Membership Meeting of the Woodrow-Osceola Water Supply Corporation was called to order at 6:30 p.m., April 2, 2011 by President Richard Greenhill. The meeting was held at the Woodbury Community Center in Woodbury, Texas. Approximately 65 members were in attendance. All Directors were present with the exception of John Milburn. Also, manager Malcolm Tucker was not in attendance due to previous plans.

President Richard Greenhill asked Secretary/Treasurer, Johnnie Bankston for a quorum. The Secretary stated counting the proxies received by mail and the members in attendance, we have a quorum.

The minutes from the April 3, 2010 Annual Meeting were read by Secretary/Treasurer, Johnnie Bankston. Aaron Smith made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Frank Burt seconded. Vote was unanimous.

Secretary/Treasurer, Johnnie Bankston stated, since there were three candidates standing for election and were unopposed, if a member would like to make a motion by acclamation to elect the three, it would move the meeting along much quicker. Sue McCoy made a motion to elect Thomas Bills, Sandra Chilcutt and Ray Mershawn for three year terms, by acclamation. Vickie Melton seconded. Vote was unanimous.

President Richard Greenhill presented the past year’s Financial Report and discussed the Activity Report from the past year, in the manager’s absence.

President Richard Greenhill asked for Public Comment. Frank Burt asked how much Well #6 was going to cost. Johnnie Bankston apologized and stated she was going to total the contracts, but we had come in a small amount below the budget of $1.3 million.

During Directors and Managers comments: All the Directors collectively thanked the members for showing their support by attending the Annual Meeting. Sandra Chilcutt encouraged members to attend the Regular Board Meetings for in-put and the Directors stated much had been accomplished last year, but we have so much to accomplish in the coming year.

Glen Magee made a motion to adjourn the Business meeting at 7:05 p.m. Vickie Melton seconded. Vote was unanimous.
Respectively Submitted,
Johnnie Bankston
Secretary/Treasurer
